Just the other day we talked about how we need positive things happening in our lives and then we received an email that we were nominated for one of the "Oscars in the education industry". This means the world to us that we are one of the Finalists 2021 in the category: "Secondary Learning International Impact Award".

The PIEoneer Awards celebrate innovation and achievement across the whole of the global education industry. With a distinguished judging panel representing wide geographical and professional diversity, The PIEoneer Awards recognise both individuals and organisations who are pushing professional standards, evolving their engagement or redefining the international student experience. 2021 is the fifth year the awards have run.

This year has been the most competitive ever, with over 50% more entries than last year and an exceptional standard in the nominations received across the board, showcasing so much excellent work that is being carried out across the global education industry.

The Secondary learning international impact award is a chance for any type of institution teaching 11-18 year olds to showcase how they are innovating the delivery of learning and support to their international students, to ensure their experience is first-rate and that they leave ready for further education or the world of work as global citizens. Any type of institution can enter, as long as you have a minimum 10% students whose parents primarily reside overseas or who would be considered expats in-country.
